Construction Update: Foundation work begins
The site has seen a lot of progress in the past few days. Crews are currently setting up concrete forms for the foundation to be poured early next week. You can even start to see the outline of the individual townhouses that make up the first building. Unit B, pictured here in the foreground, is spoken for, but we have four other great floorplans available in this building. Call us at 610-239-1350 to learn more.

Laying the ground work - literally
The site at 1010 DeKalb Street has been excavated. Tons of stone have been brought in and compacted to make sure the ground is stable so we may start building the first of two buildings. Soon there will be 6 affordable, efficient townhomes taking shape in the area pictured above.
We are giving a homebuyer's seminar at 6:30 on October 4, 2011, at the Norristown Branch of the Montgomery County Library in conjunction with Genesis Corporation.
Attend to find out how you can get in on the ground floor and take advantage of more than $12,000 in funds to pay most of your down payment and your closing costs if you qualify.
The seminar (and cookies) are free. Call Arbor Heights at 610-239-1350 or email sales@arborheightsdekalb.com to let us know you will be stopping by - and tell your friends. We would love to see you there.

Officially underway
What a wonderful groundbreaking we had on September 14th!
Elected officials and staff from Montgomery County and the Municipality of Norristown joined community leaders to celebrate the culmination of years of planning and cooperation that have made new affordable homes on DeKalb Street a reality.

Here we go!
Okay we cheated a little –
We already have homebuyers so we didn’t want to wait for our official ground breaking to start construction on our first building of 6 new homes at 1010 DeKalb Street.
This was the scene on September 12 – truly a new beginning for this historic block in Norristown.
We are so excited to get started on these new homes!
