Officially underway

What a wonderful groundbreaking we had on September 14th!
Elected officials and staff from Montgomery County and the Municipality of Norristown joined community leaders to celebrate the culmination of years of planning and cooperation that have made new affordable homes on DeKalb Street a reality.

Our official ground breaking photo featuring (left to right) Norristown Council member Marlon Millner; Representative Matt Bradford (107th Legislative District); Developer Sarah Peck, president of Progressive Housing Ventures; Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Hoeffel; Norristown Director of Planning Jayne Musonye; and Norristown Council members Gary Simpson, Linda Christian and William Caldwell. Absent from photo, Montgomery County Commissioner Bruce Castor.
Kids of a neighboring property owner joined in the event with their own groundbreaking pose.

The promise of Arbor Heights has spurred renovations and renewal of many other properties in the immediate vicinity. See more about that here.
